Anglican Development Services (ADS) – Mt. Kenya Region successfully organized an Agricultural Show at Wabugu Farm, bringing together 175 lead farmers from Murang’a and Kiambu counties for a day of learning, collaboration, and agricultural innovation.
The event created a valuable platform where farmers, agricultural officers, and livestock experts interacted, exchanged experiences, and shared practical knowledge on improving agricultural productivity. Through these engagements, participants gained insights into modern farming techniques and sustainable agricultural practices.
Farmers also explored a wide range of exhibitions showcasing innovative farming technologies, climate-smart solutions, improved livestock management practices, and value-added agricultural products. These demonstrations highlighted practical approaches that can be adopted to enhance farm efficiency and resilience.
The agricultural show focused on strengthening farmers' knowledge and skills, enabling them to increase productivity, improve household incomes, and build sustainable livelihoods. By promoting innovation and collaboration, the event reaffirmed the importance of empowering farming communities to achieve long-term food security and economic growth.
