Empowering Sustainable Agribusiness and entrepreneurship

Through the Sustainable Renewable Energy Technologies (SRET) Project, Anglican Development Services (ADS)Mt Kenya, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), and BDIT College are equipping 3,000 smallholder farmers and 150 value chain actors across Githunguri, Kikuyu, and Limuru with hands-on entrepreneurship and technical mentorship. Over three years, the initiative accelerates the shift from subsistence farming to competitive agribusiness by embedding clean energy solutions into dairy and horticulture value chainsdramatically reducing operational expenses, curbing post-harvest losses, and driving sustainable commercial growth to fortify regional food and nutrition security.
